From a very young age Dr. Reema Abou-Nasr was involved in medicine. As a teenager she volunteered at a hospital working with disabled kids. This experience helped decide her future in health care and led her to become a physician.
Dr. Abou-Nasr enjoys being part of a teaching institution. Beyond the opportunity to work with students and residents is the top-notch care patients receive. Thanks to the research done by doctors at CUMC patients always receive quality, up-to-date care.
When meeting with your doctor, it’s best to focus on one or two issues. Dr. Abou-Nasr recommends keeping your list of complaints specific and short to help the doctor evaluate what is the root of the problem. Honesty is also important, so be upfront with your provider.
Away from the office Dr. Abou-Nasr enjoys cooking ethnic foods, dancing, gardening and spending time with her three beautiful children.
